UFO-Siira 45 MM 7 G

Primarily designed and manufactured for casting in Kuusamo, the Ufo-Siira 45/7 is a lead-free, hand-painted jig head with two attachment points. Its flat design makes the lure glide, and depending on the rigging and attachment point, it functions as a versatile hybrid head for straight retrieves, bottom-line jigging, or vertical jigging.

Lead-free construction, hand-painting, a durable and sharp 1/0 hook, and an action that enhances the jig’s movement make the Ufo-Siira—designed primarily for casting—an exceptional lure. Endless possibilities and combinations with different jigs turn the Ufo-Siira into a true multi-purpose lure for any situation and all waters.

When attached to the front loop and rigged with the right type of jig, the Ufo-Siira’s design enhances the jig’s own movement—for example, the rocking action of a paddle-tail jig becomes almost wobbling, allowing it to be fished with a straight retrieve like a regular lure. With a pin-tail jig, which has minimal action, the Ufo-Siira carries it with a slow, gliding motion even on a straight retrieve. Front-loop attachment is excellent for fishing in shallow water.

Attaching the Ufo-Siira from the top enables efficient fishing in a small area—vertically, along the bottom, or ice jigging directly under the boat. This method is suitable for almost all fishing styles, and the gliding jig head’s features show best in boat fishing when combining techniques. At the beginning of the cast, you can jig along the bottom, and as the lure approaches the boat, switch to vertical jigging within the same cast. We also recommend top attachment for precision fishing.

The Ufo-Siira 7 g is also effective in winter ice fishing, especially when targeting larger zander and perch. For winter fishing, it is best to rig the Ufo-Siira with a jig that has as little movement as possible. The ten-color chart has been designed for Finnish waters.
