We’ll now teach you two new ways to fish with the Räsänen! The Räsänen is not just an ordinary casting lure — you can also fish with it using jigging technique or ice fishing. Jigging goes as follows: after the cast, wait for the lure to sink to the bottom. Then reel it in with a couple of brisk turns of the handle. After that, let the lure sink back to the bottom. Repeat this and wait for the strike! With the jigging technique, you can catch pike, zander, and perch.

You can also use the Räsänen for ice fishing, and this very model is perfect for it! Lower the Räsänen to the bottom and reel it up about 20 cm above the bottom. Make a couple of long, quick lifts. Wait. Vibrate it and then wait again.
