A few years ago, we in Kuusamo developed our own sliding jig. We’ve received great feedback from many competition ice anglers. The idea of the sliding jig is that the length of the leader between the jig and the hook can be quickly adjusted by sliding the jig along the line. Sometimes fish prefer a short leader over a longer one. You never know in advance — you just have to try.

Both ends of the jig are cast with line loops through which the line is threaded. The line is locked to the loops at both ends with rubber stoppers, allowing you to quickly adjust the hook’s distance from the jig. At the end of the leader, we recommend using a Kirppu.
